A Return to Our Roots

Before moving to Trenton, Tennessee, The Church of the Risen Christ was first founded in Memphis, Tennessee - a place where our ministry took its first faithful steps. In thanksgiving for those beginnings, and with a desire to continue the mission from which we came, we are joyfully establishing a mission chapel in the greater Memphis area.
The Memphis mission will be called St. Mary of Magdalene Episcopal Catholic Church.
The Church of the Risen Christ will remain in Trenton.

This chapel will serve as both a living memorial to our founding and a renewed witness to the Risen Lord in the city of our origin. Under the patronage of St. Mary Magdalene - first witness to the Resurrection - this mission will carry forward the same faith sacramental life, and pastoral care that have shaped our journey.
